This dreamy new single from PWNT is a kaleidoscopic journey through psychedelic sounds and distant melodies. ‘It’s Funny’ takes as much from The Beatles and Pink Floyd as it does Blur and MGMT; PWNT’s sound is eclectic and instantly recognisable. PWNT himself is a session musician and songwriter by day, so his solo works are able to bring together a wealth of experience into something quite remarkable. “I started messing with the intro on this as a loop and the whole track came together from there,” he explains. “My buddy Luke Enyeart threw down the beautiful slide solo.
